Registration Opens Key to Joining Pre-Conference OSINT Virtual Community

(Wanaque, NJ) Today, the OSMOSIS Institute announced that due to ongoing COVID-19 threats to public health and safety, the 6th Annual OSMOSIScon, previously scheduled to be held in San Diego, will be conducted October 11-13 via virtual Globalcast. Working with CyberSocialHub, organizers are shifting to this exciting and interactive online platform specifically designed for the needs of open source investigators, speakers, and exhibitors.

“We are living in uncertain times,” stated Cynthia Hetherington, OSMOSIS founder and president, “but cyber investigators are swift and nimble, which allows us to switch platforms seamlessly. We are excited to offer annual favorites such engaging workshops, networking opportunities, and the much-anticipated expo—all on an incredible social media platform. This year attendees will also get to celebrate extraordinary OSINT work and innovations at our first annual awards ceremony.”

The new platform will allow attendees, speakers, and vendors to network and consult with some of the most recognized social media and open source experts across the globe on message boards, in live forums, and in private chats. Joining this ongoing virtual community of like-minded professionals pre/post-conference will further the OSINT/SOCMIT tradecraft.

Nominations for the 1st Annual Open Source Awards are open until July 31, 2020 in the following categories: Open Source Intelligence Champion of the Year, Open Source Technology Innovation of the Year, Open Source Diversity Trailblazer of the Year, Open Source Rising Star of the Year, and Open Source Non-Profit of the Year. For more information about each category, nomination guidelines and forms, please visit: https://osmosiscon.com/osmosis-awards-2020/

Registration cost for the conference is $999, but a Friends & Family $200 discount is available until September 1, 2020. Registrants who have paid full price will receive an automatic refund.
