OSMOSIS Institute Board of Advisors Calls for Nominations for OSMOSIScon 2020 Open Source Awards
(Wanaque, NJ) The OSMOSIS Institute Board of Advisors is pleased to announce a call for nominations for the first annual OSMOSIS Open Source Awards. The awards will be presented at the 6th Annual OSMOSIScon 2020 held in San Diego and live via virtual Globalcast on October 13, 2020. Categories include: Open Source Intelligence Champion of the Year, Open Source Technology Innovation of the Year, Open Source Diversity Trailblazer of the Year, Open Source Rising Star of the Year, and Open Source Non-Profit of the Year.
“We are looking for exemplary innovators and nimble leaders who demonstrate a commitment to community service and mentoring,” stated Cynthia Hetherington, founder and president of the OSMOSIS Advisory Board. “Investigators and researchers are integrating OSINT tools and skills into their work across the globe. We are honored to have the opportunity to recognize their vital work in our open source cyber intelligence community.”
Nominees can be submitted for more than one category. A separate nomination form is required for each submission. Only nominations that answer all questions will be considered. Each nominee must confirm her/his agreement to be nominated by responding to an email inquiry.
Key Dates & Deadlines
- June 15, 2020: Nominations open 12:00 am
- July 31, 2020: Nominations close by 11:59 pm
- August 11, 2020: Finalists announced
- October 13, 2020: Awards presented
