Andrew Fordred a Namibian, previously served as an intelligence officer for the Organised Crime Intelligence Unit of the South African Police. After leaving the police service, he held several corporate positions. In 2007 he started his own business providing forensic investigations, intelligence, and risk management consultancy. He completed a forensic investigation degree focusing on forensic intelligence, a qualitative case study of illegal narcotics trade and syndicates. Currently he provides cyber intelligence and investigations, cyber security and privacy, and training services. He is also a public speaker at events such as the Journey of the Hacker, OSMOSIS 2018 Las Vegas USA, Cyber Threats against Children UNICEF and various others.
